Frerichs - The Ashes Glow

Wereldpremière van virtuoos tripelconcert

Het virtuoze tripelconcert "The ashes glow, the sleeping fire rises" beleefde in Enschede de wereldpremière. Jazzpianist en componist Rembrandt Frerichs schreef in opdracht van het Stiftfestival het opzwepende werk vol evocatieve, zinderende klanken uit het Midden Oosten. Solisten zijn o.a. de Iraanse sterzanger Mohammed Motamedi en artistiek leider Daniel Rowland.

 

World premiere of virtuoso triple concerto

The virtuoso triple concerto "The ashes glow, the sleeping fire rises" was commissioned by the Stift Festival and had its world premiere in Enschede. Jazz pianist and composer Rembrandt Frerichs wrote the work, which is full of evocative, thrilling sounds from the Middle East. Soloists include Iranian star singer Mohammed Motamedi and artistic director Daniel Rowland
